Äitienpäivä lähestyy meillä Suomessa kovaa vauhtia, joten seuraavan pariviikkoisen ajan haasteena on tehdä jotain "Äidille". Here in Finland we'll be celebrating Mothers' day on the 12.th of May, so now we're challenging you to make something "For Mother". Tässä kuussa vierailevana DT-jäsenenämme on Ellen, jonka terveiset ja hieno matkaminialbumi löytyvät alta.
This month we're honoured to have Ellen as our guest designer. Here are her greetings to you and pictures of her wonderful mini travel album for our challenge.

My name is Ellen Kristiansen, aged 55, from Sandefjord/ Norway. My kids and grandchildren are all grown up!;).  I have always had a creative hobby, but I became "addicted" to this scraphobby around Christmas 2009, when I wanted to make my own Christmas cards for friends and family. :) And since then, my hobbyroom become larger and my wallet smaller..;):) I've been with several DT and GD in various designteam, and that has given me soo much inspiration, joy and new friends :) I love vintage and shabby style, while I like to try some  "steampunk" ;) These days I've got my eyes on "Mini Album", and love making them, for all our travels/Holidays.

So I switch a little,  I'm particularly fond of images that I can coloring with my sketches. I enjoy learning more about color with my beloved Copic. What I like most is to create different types of cards, tags, and sometimes "altered projects", and use any free time to indulge me in my hobbyroom ♥. I also love to use the sewingmachine on my cards/project. In the blog I call myself "Scrappellen." And, here is the link to my blog:

I've made a Mini Album, using a lot of elements, Gesso and Glimmermist.

I've to finished the pages later, when I've printed out the photos that I want to put in. But, here's a little sneak peak inside!;) I'm very honoured to be here with you, and I hope you all will like what I've created for this theme-"Travelling". You can find more pictures and info on my blog:)
